The Department of Posts of India has released commemorative stamps this year honoring eminent Hindi Film personalities to mark celebrations of 100 Years of Indian Cinema.

Also released, stamps honoring Shankar-Jaikishan and Salil Chowdhury – music directors for whom Shailendra wrote most of his songs.
