National Film Award for Best Feature Film – Teesri Kasam

Teesri Kasam (1966), produced by Shailendra, won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film (President’s Gold Medal for the Producer).

He also wrote songs for the film, including the unforgettable sajanwa bairi ho gaye hamaar, sajan re jhooth mat bolo and paan khaaye sainyaa hamaaro.
